I will never stay at this hotel again!
Believe the reviews you read about this hotel. We figured that it could not be as bad as people were saying. We were wrong. I travel with work and stay in hotels over 100 nights per year and this hotel is hands down the worst I have ever experienced. Our first room had an outlet hanging out of the wall with exposed wires and the room was covered with stains on the carpeting and furniture. We were moved to a poolside room that was just downright gross. Broken lights. Missing hardware and filthy. The half used shampoo and conditioner bottles were a little unsettling. Every time I went to the front desk there was another group of people who were dissatisfied with their accommodations. The only reason we did not leave is that we had promised our two young children that we were staying at a hotel with a water park. Holiday Inn should be ashamed of their affiliation with this hotel. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn property since and do not intend to ever again due to this experience.

Clueless staff
The hotel staff seemed to not have a clue as to what was going on with our reservations. We had to wait until after 5:30 to get into our room as it had not been cleaned yet. To top it all off, we were charged an additional $393 on our credit card because they accidentally put my sister's room on my bill also. I just received my credit card statement today and realized this. I would not recommend this hotel.

GREAT STAY!
The staff was very friendly and courteous. The water park was a lot of fun and the food in the restaurant was great.

Great service
Our last trip to Holiday Inn before this one was like most reviews listed; not a very good one. We did not receive what we were told we would (Adjoining rooms for my daughter's party). As some of the reviews pointed out the customer service staff did not care about our situation at all. I called the manager and he said he'd call me back that night but never did. After we checked out of the hotel I called and talked with a manager named Andy. Andy was very apologetic about the lack of service we received and offered us a complimentary stay. We accepted and recently stayed at the hotel. Our check in went very smoothly and Greg (the rep who checked us in was extremely courteous). Everything went well and we had no complaints. Hand written letters from Andy were in each room (they were adjoined :-)). We will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn again. The service in a short period of time has gone from a one star to a four star. We appreciated the staff and the time they took to make sure all was satisfactory. If you've had a bad experience give them one more try. I think you'll be pleased.

Traumatic experience
Yes, the room was comfortable and clean, but how can that substitute what happened to me? I left two diamond rings at the bathroom counter and they disappeared. Right after I left the hotel I realized I had forgotten them, called the hotel, the housekeeping manager and NOBODY cared. They just told me to come back on Monday because they were too busy that weekend and took absolutely no responsibility for it. I decided to file a complaint with the manager and they passed the case on to a private investigation. Up to now, exactly a month after the situation I have not heard a single word from the hotel. No complimentary stays, no regrets, no apologies, nothing official. Holiday Inn, never again!!!!

Buyer Beware
My wife and I chose this hotel because of the water park for our son and his friend. We asked for a pool side suite expecting to be located near the water park. Instead our $189 room sat next to the regular pool behing the pump room. Needless to say we were mislead on that.

Ok - not the best or worst
We were happy enough with the hotel. The kids loved the pool. The tv worked well and the room was clean.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! NOT RECOMMEDED!!!
On June 5th I checked into this hotel preparing to send my 18 year old daughter off to the Army. Before we arrived at the hotel, we discussed how stressful the 24 hours we were to be in Omaha would be and how I had chosen to stay at this hotel because on their website it showed how "relaxing and enjoyable" the accomodations were there. Needless to say this was not at all the case.

pool was closed...
We chose this hotel because of the zero entry beach style pool only to arrive and find it was underconstruction. I had talked to them within the month prior to checking in and this was never mentioned. Even at check it they failed to mention it until we went to look at it and found it empty. The construction is due to the upcoming indoor waterpark. So call ahead if you are expecting a pool to verify. They did let us go across the street to the comfort inn and allow the use of their pool but it was not zero entry and with a 2 year old a little unhandy since the shallow end was 3ft. They did provide shuttle service for my husband to attend his classes.. this was very handy. They are in the process of also updating some of their rooms.

Aweful experience
My family and I stayed here after the hotel that we'd initially had reservations for was overbooked. Upon checking in, it was fairly clear that this hotel was older and in need of renovation.
