Not too be missed!
If you are looking for value for money, good quality food and a good night out, then head to your nearest banana leaf. The staff were friendly and efficient. My recommendation would be to book in advance, as it gets pretty busy!

Only for non-Malaysians
Let me tell you something about Banana Leaf Restuarant. My family is from Malaysia and this is not real Malaysian food. It is just ok-above average. Have you ever noticed that most of the patrons are Caucasian? If it was so good and real, where are all the Malays?

Best Malaysian restaurant I've been to
This is by far the best Malaysian restaurant I have visited, and it's a great value also. Most of the dishes are under CDN 10. The dining room is small, so it gets crowded on weekend nights. When I'm in Vancouver I make several trips to Banana Leaf; it's actually one of the experiences I look forward to. I've tried many of the dishes on the menu and have never been dissatisfied with any of the choices. The noodle dishes in particular have been outstanding.
