The staff were friendly and efficient. My recommendation would be to book in advance, as it gets pretty busy!

It is just ok-above average. Have you ever noticed that most of the patrons are Caucasian? If it was so good and real, where are all the Malays?
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 28 2005 Best Malaysian restaurant I've been to This is by far the best Malaysian restaurant I have visited, and it's a great value also. Most of the dishes are under CDN 10. The dining room is small, so it gets crowded on weekend nights. When I'm in Vancouver I make several trips to Banana Leaf; it's actually one of the experiences I look forward to. I've tried many of the dishes on the menu and have never been dissatisfied with any of the choices. The noodle dishes in particular have been outstanding.
