A conversion of a pair of 18th-century farmhouses, the traditional surroundings are complemented by a modern Anglo-French menu which has won numerous awards and is particularly renowned for its imaginative seafood dishes e.g. a starter of scallops with ginger followed by lobster, hake or sea bass. There is an equally good range of meat and vegetarian dishes, including a traditional Sunday roast every week. The wine list is short but offers some good choices. Please note that children under seven are not permitted.
