Back to Ayala Museum Excellent Museum While the permanent collections are rather small compared to the overwhelming National Museum in Manila, the Ayala Museum is notable for its amazing revolving collections and quality educational programs. It's also on the cutting edge in terms of promoting new artists and creative exhibits. Recently added is the "Crossroads of Civilizations" exhibit which features the "Gold of Ancestors" display, quite possibly the best designed museum display in the country.

Reviewed by: Spoogis from on Jul 29 2007 Hmmm... At least I like their monthly exhibits.. I was able to go here... for the first time... for the so-called field trip of the Makati BnG week. So it was free, all paid for by the school. I was excited... really! But if it wasn't free, I wouldn't be that much excited. There are limited artists to see... and sometimes, I think one of the galeries was almost bare, empty... But I like their monthly exhibits... sometimes held near the main lobby... sometimes on the third... I absolutely went gaga over this mexican sculptor who tinkers with scrap metal and wields them into human forms, some distoted, some divine... I hope to see it again at the AM...
