Great Park
This is a really cool place to walk around, chill out, eat. Also it is fun to go to the top of the museum where you can see all of SF - there is also a huge map there where you can pinpoint your location.

Gorgeous!
The park was beautiful! There are many activities to choose from while in the park. We spent an entire afternoon in Golden Gate Park and still didn't see everything! Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful!!!
If you like the outdoors, you must check out the Golden Gate Park! The Conservatory of Flowers (inside the park) alone is worth it! Many fun things to see and do! At the end of the park are two big windmills, not very exciting...but nice to go see!

A Major Disappointment
I was expecting a beautiful, well-kept park, but this is far from it! Grass was over-grown, flower bed were full of weeds, and there was trash everywhere. Homeless people were not uncommon and the restroom was the most disgusting that I have ever encountered. I wonder if it has ever been cleaned. We visited the Japanese Tea Garden and since it was a public park we thought that it would be free and open to the public, but there was a fee to get in. We did not visit any other the other attractions. It was difficult to manuver through the park as well because there are not signs to point you in the direction of attractions.

Fun place to hang out
Check out the concerts in summer. It's a really fun place for a lot of stuff. I love the Japanese garden. Nice to browse around Haight before heading to the park.

If you have a nice day in SF, go here!
GG park is pretty much the nicest park you will ever run into in the middle of a city. It has everything you could want, from the West being right on the beach to the East being right on famous Haight/Ashbury. In the middle are gardens, museums, beautiful places to just sit, and buffalos (yup! just in he middle). On the weekends, the park is full of everyone you could ever imagine and really, is a beautiful place to explore. If you have a full day and nothing to do, go here because you can spend a whole week exploring and just letting yourself get lost!

Great place for a relaxing day for a walk...
Although I live in the south bay, I love to go to SF Park because it is huge. The place is very green and clean. It is just the place to go to escape from heat in South Bay and cool down in the park.
