Auckland's newest Day Spa, the Spa de Serville, calls itself an example of 'sanctuary by the sea' - as indeed it is. Affiliated with the Servilles chain of salons, they offer a full range of spa and beauty treatments, along with a fully staffed salon and car valet service. Some prices are at the higher end of the market, but the treatments on offer are divine and often well worth the outlay. An example is the Total Zen day package, which includes a four hand massage, body wrap, manicure and pedicure, eyelash tint, blow dry and makeup, amongst other delights.
