The Kanzlei is a big hall where parties on all different scales take place - new disco, funk, hip hop, acid-jazz, soul, R'n'B, raggae, drum and bass, dub, 70's, 80's, 90's, trip hop - you name it, they play it. Every Thursday there is a 'Thursday's Child' party, with oldies from the 70's to the 90's. The party usually goes on till 2am, sometimes till 4am (Fri & Sat). And here is a little tip - to buy a beer you have to pay a CHF 2 deposit on the bottle, and when you bring the bottle back, you get your deposit back; now, many people forget to bring their bottles back, so if you want some extra change, simply collect the lonely bottles bring them to the bar and collect your fee.
