Sorry shred heads! Alta is the ultimate for skiers only. There is a terrain match for every skier level. The mountain scenery is spectacular.

I came to Alta to ski for a season in 1998 and haven't been able to leave. The area has great beginner runs as well as fantastic expert runs. If you love great snow conditions and the deepest driest powder (500" of the stuff each year) then I will see you on the mountain. If you only go to the mountains to be seen, this is probably not the place for you. Stay at the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge which is right at the base of the Collins and Wildcat lifts. Rooms are comforable, food is awesome and you can be the first in line everyday.
