At this gallery, they are always organizing all kinds of exhibitions during which they show works of art from many different places and by both Spanish and foreign artists. To give you an idea of the different exhibits offered, some have included art related to Holy Week and collective exhibitions of local photographers or individual artists such as Ferreira Cunquero. There is also an important library on the premises. Before you enter the exhibition hall, you should have a look around the building itself. Its facade is covered with large stone shells ("Casa de las Conchas" means literally "House of Shells"), and it was built during the transitional period between the Gothic and the Renaissance. Moreover, this building is the most outstanding non-religious monument from the times of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabela and Ferdinand. Since it is located right in the center of the town, you can easily visit the Universidad Pontificia, the Cathedrals, the Plaza Mayor.Admission: freeNYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
