worst experience ever
This hotel operates on either ac or heating. Apparently, these people don't check the weather. During the week I stayed there, it was 80 every day and didn't get below 60 at night. However, they decieded to use the heating system. I baked in there every night, and couldn't even stand to be in my room during the day. I was forced to take cold showers and use the cold setting on my blow dryer.

Truly unpleasant experience
The Green Oaks apparently has no clue what air conditioning means.

Never Again Well Maybe Mgmt made it right
We were not happy at all, they were rude and we didnt get the king suite we reserved because they didnt clean them....i was looking forward to staying there because they were recomended by a friend. Front desk took a personal phone call while we were trying to check in and carried on a conversation instead of taking care of us. the rudeness goes on from there...

We would stay here again
The hotel concierge was very accommodating and helpful considering that Travelocity never sent them our reservation and we didn't have a room reserved when we arrived as we should have. They gave us their last room and treated us very well. The outside is outdated and the pool wasn't in working condition (not pool season-May 1), but the room was clean, safe and secure and easy to locate from DFW airport. The rates were excellent and we would definitely stay here again!

Have used this hotel several times for meetings. etc. and have returned due to the best prices and value overall.Food is great/appreciate the improvements/no staff tries harder! Our group had a few problems early on, but due to the effort made by mgmt/Debbie,& the redo in progress they have voted to rebook again!"It feels like a sm. country club"the way it is laid out-pools/tennis courts etc.Meetings went especially well and the location is good for drive-ins,w/free parking!Security was a big plus too!

Loud Traffic Environment
Directly in front of one the busiest traffic locations in all of Texas. The interstate, frontage roads, on-ramps, off ramps, mall access, major crossroad and spur road to one of the largest military airplane plants and joint military bases in the US leads to continuous noise pollution.... 24/7. It is also under the short final approach path for landing fighter, cargo and transport planes flying into the military base. Earplugs required for sleeping.
