Situated on Washington Harbour, Sequoia Restaurant boasts a palatial, beautifully decorated interior. The view of the Potomac River is gorgeous. The restaurant serves New American cuisine with innovative dishes prepared with local ingredients. Burgers, salads and sandwiches round out the menu. Sunday brunch is popular especially in the summer when the outdoor patio is open. The ground floor of the restaurant is a bar, and in the summer months, the outside tables are packed with business people looking to relax after a long day at work.

SUCKED @$$!!!!
Beside the beautiful scenery at SEQUOIA, it was nice but overall service was not pleasant. It was a bad experience reserving 15 people celebrating my birthday. For one, they did not seat us together as they had informed. It took longer than an hour for us to get served. I wasted my time speaking to someone posing to be a manager in regards to what we have experienced so far. However, that was not the end of the crappy experienced. To end the night they stated that there was a cake cutting fee for each person that we weren't made aware of. This is something I would never want to encounter again!!! SEQUOIA would not be a place I would recommend anyone to go to celebrating any event.

I DID NOT LIKE THE RUNAROUND THEY GAVE ME ALL NIGHT AND THEIR EXCUSES AFTER COMPLAINING TO SOMEONE POSING AS A MANAGER. THEY MADE MY NIGHT VERY FRUSTRATING AND VERY UNSATISFIED OVERALL!!!!
