One of the most famous restaurants in Monterrey, this restaurant's speciality—as its name suggests—is cabrito (kid goat). The other dishes, like the magnificent grilled beef cuts, should not be overlooked however. This locale is the oldest of three branches, which are all located in the city. The decor is a little excessive with stuffed animals on the walls and objects from this northern region. Still, the menu prices are not as high as other restaurants of this class and the atmosphere is informal with a mixed clientele.

Not what it is cracked up to be
This was our 1st visit to this restraunt. Our waiter was not very helpful and seemed somewhat rude. We ordered appetizers that arrived after our entrees were brought to the table. We all ordered the Goat Shoulder. There was very little meat on this cut and it took a lot of effort to eat. This restraunt does not take AE cards which is the standard card for most business travelers. They would not give us separate checks which makes filing expense reports very difficult. None of us would recommend this restraunt to others.

Bizzare but Wonderful Low-Carb Foods
I went to this restaraunt while on a low-carb diet and found it to be the perfect restaraunt for me....
