Here is a rare opportunity to experience and learn about the working life of the miller. Visitors are given a chance to take part in some of his work amidst the sound of the wooden water wheel. Marvel as it powers the grindstone to produce flour just as it did a century ago. Other attractions include living willow bowers, a tree trail and pond walks. There is also a restored timber-framed barn where you can enjoy lunch or tea. Look out for special events held here, particularly during the summer, including The Sealed Knot Living History Weekend and the Warwickshire Rural Show. The village of Wellesbourne is a few miles north-east of Stratford. Admission prices are adults £4.50, children (5-16 years) £3, senior citizens & students £3, and families (2 adults, 2 children under 16) £12.
