We loved the whole concept of this Hotel....from the beginning when we walked in the door (free cookies and apples) to the end. Great customer service and friendly staff. We dined in Morgan's Food and Spirits which is connected to this hotel....if you like Bloody Mary's try one. (They gave us free drink coupons also). The free breakfast was HOT...not cold and was very good. Make sure you tip these people.....when everything is free some people are not very good at tipping.

I travel a lot. I have traveled in many different countries and have stayed in many different hotels. I know what to expect for the money paid. And the Clarion did not even come close to living up to expectations--as far as service and accommodations are concerned.

Really not a bad hotel...however....the wait staff at Morgans... the restaurant which is located inside the hotel....could take some lessons in customer relations from the front desk staff...who are top notch. Waitresses ignore you when you sit down...sometimes for as long as ten minutes..AFTER they look right at you! They all gather back in the kitchen...after you sit down.... and it looks like they're trying to decide as to whether or not they want to wait on you. (Or, they're drawing straws to see who will have to work).

Good, clean room. Good in-house restaurant. Flexible check-out times (important, since my departure date kept changing).
