Every three years Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art brings together contemporary artwork that crosses the boundaries of both culture and medium. Since its seminal stages in the late 1980s, the exhibition has striven to promote a relationship between cultures through art. The event consists primarily of an exhibition of works encompassing a wide variety of techniques, media and styles from over 20 regions and countries. In addition to this, there are complimentary events, a conference and hi-tech displays. This is a great opportunity for education with a large collection of research material available.
