To celebrate a wedding, practice a sport or simply enjoy the open space, this immense park of 90 hectares (222 acres) to the east of the city center has all that is needed. Opposite the elegant stairway of the Château, which houses reception rooms, is a magnificent old cedar. The adjacent chapel was rebuilt between 1895 and 1897 in a neo-Gothic style. The park also contains a bird reserve, tropical greenhouses and the city horticultural center, not to mention a sports and horse-riding complex, a theater (Théâtre des Treize Vents) and a concert arena (Le Zenith).
