Not Recommended While service staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, front desk administrative desk were unorganized and unhelpful to the point of bring impolite. Restaurant and pool area are five star quality but rooms and hallways are about 3 and a half stars though quite clean. My credit card information was taken by a hotel employee and the card charged nearly $800 in purchases. If you decide to stay at this hotel, be very careful with personal information. Overall I would not recommend staying at Altamira Suites as you can get more for your money at other locations in Caracas. I would recommend that the hotel look into providing customer care courses for their front desk staff. Gr8 Stay!!!!!!!! i don't know, but it was very ugly . The service was gr8!!!! It was worth more than the money I paid. I was thinking around 100 USD, but I only had to pay 86 for 1 night. Stay here if u don't mind ugly wallpaper.

Reviewed by: Juan from on Oct 27 2005 Would like to visit again Great staff, very knowlegdeable and eager to help. Food in the resturant was excellent, but service is much slower than it is in NYC. Large selection for the breakfast buffet. Nice part of town. Good internet access. The staff tolerated my poor spanish and did speak english.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 31 2005 Good breakfast buffet The rooms are spacious, but some would need a refurbishement. You sometime have to wait very long for the elevators, but there are two additional ones (not well known) near the emergency stairs. Ask for a room on the mountain side (back), as the front side is quite noisy, with the traffic. The staff is friendly.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 24 2004 If you have time, wait for the elevators I was in this hotel three weeks ago and certainly the elevators needed maintenance, also there is no cafeteria or more options for food considering the rates they charge. Service was cordial.
