Festival Séquence Court-Métrage

Every November/December, the Short-film Society organizes a festival in Toulouse and its neighboring towns. The event is concerned mainly with 35mm films, but includes 16mm, Super 8 and Beta SP. Over a period of ten days around 80 international films are shown. Directors, actors and producers hold discussion sessions in the evenings. Participating cinemas include the Utopia, the ABC and the Cinematheque. Each film is shown twice a day to give everyone an opportunity to see it.

The Toulouse Cinémathèque is a member of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) and the Association of European Cinémathèques (ACE); it also collaborates with various national and international organizations concerned with the preservation of films.
