Club Transmediale is an independent project that runs parallel to the main Transmediale event. Recent technical developments have helped give visual media (mainly video) a more important status in club life. Club Transmediale illustrates what can be done with visual images if they are specifically created for the club arena. Although the idea is not exactly revolutionary, the event at least provides a showcase for the latest developments in the field, allowing musicians and visual artists to play together and not just at the same time.
