Until the advent of the two larger Warners complexes, this is where most Bristolians would go for their regular popcorn, cola and celluloid fix. Surrounded by dual carriage way flyovers, railway lines and fast food/chain restaurant outlets, it's big, glitzy and very American. With sixteen screens, they show mainstream Hollywood/Brit-flick fare plus the occasional slightly arty release. A big bonus are the seats - so comfortable you could fall asleep in them. It's also a glutton's paradise - sweets, popcorn and drinks stalls seem to appear every ten metres and it's virtually impossible to find anything in a small size. There are wheelchair spaces in every screen room. If you pre-book your tickets you can avoid the queues and pick them up from a special credit card machine.
