The organization known as 'Moving Targets' organizes the Festival of Short Film, during which about 300 short films and videos are presented over a period of six days in November. An international jury presents five of the films with an award. As is the case with the main Berlin Film Festival, there is also a fringe program which includes historical films, works from other continents, commercials, videos, cartoons and documentaries as well as bonbons like the 'long night of deviant film.' The festival takes place in the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures) and other venues.
