I spent four months studying abroad in Montpellier and this was one of my favorite spots in the city. It's quiet and quite a pleasant place to walk in without being hassled by solicitors (it's nearly impossible to walk in this city without being bothered). Many people go to read, show their affection for one another or simply take a promenade with their family. It's pretty in the winter and even prettier in the Spring when it's entirely green.
