Not Bad..Convenient to the Ballpark
The staff at the front desk as very nice. I stayed here with my kids. We did not have time for the pool, but it looked very nice. It was within walking distance to the Ballpark which is very convenient. The bathrooms are small and you may have to wait for the elevators if it's busy. There is a lot of construction on and around I 30 which can make it a little difficult to get to the hotel. Self parking is free.

would not stay again.
I did love the pool and view. It was great for small children. It was about 2 to 3feet deep in a large pool. When we checked in at 4:00p.m. our rooms were not ready. My husband at 5:00p.m. went back up to ask about our rooms. They gave us one of the rooms and then told us the other room would be on a different floor but still not ready. NOT GOOD!! We have 5 kids and the boys were staying in the other room. When we were leaving the hotel at 6:30p.m. a couple that arrive at the same time as us was still waiting for their room. We had still not received our other room. When we arrived back at the hotel at 10:00p.m. We got our other room. It was a king size bed instead of two double beds. We were told nothing they could do about it. We had to sleep four people in one bed. We did not get even get an apology!!!!

OLD, STINKY, AND NOISY!!!
I wanted a nice romantic stay, but it was nothing of the sort. You can hear everything in the next room. The room smelled old and moldy. The carpet was filthy. How is that romantic??? We moved to a more quiet room after 10 minutes of being next to a loud screaming couple and their kids. This one smelled too! You can hear everyone and everything going by in the halls. The next room we were moved into was falling apart. The entertainment center doors that enclosed the TV center were lying on the TV itself. This was so embarrassing, and not impressive to my gf at all. I was so irritated! I called front desk and was moved finally to a 3rd room. This one would finally not have any problems. It was so inconvenient and frustrating, trying to get situated. They finally told me they were sorry and were undergoing renovations. Why didn't they tell me that when I called??? Watch out for this hotel!!!

it's a sheraton now, thankfully
We booked a smoking room 2 weeks in advance, upon arrival we were told they were all taken, despite it being only 3:10 in the afternoon. After a bit of discussion with the more than rude young man at the desk, he informed us that ALL the smoking rooms in the hotel had been take for almost a month. No one told us this when we called the hotel to book. I asked for a manager...was rudely told I couldn't talk to one because they were too busy in a meeting. It was take the room he gave us or nothing...tough luck. We told him we would be leaving then instead. I asked for a receipt showing we owned nothing for the room he had checked us into..he refused to give us one.

All business hotel
I stayed because of a convention in the Arlington Convention Center. It was built for that function. I evaluated it for family use while attending Six Flags. It would not make a good hotel for families. The first morning, there was absolutely no hot water. Maintenance came and let it run for 20 minutes. Glad thing I was early getting up. The next day, same thing, no hot water. I just let it run 20 minutes myself until it kicked it. They evidently intentionally let the hot water run low until they turn on some kind of booster. This is a very sad way to run a hotel.

This is a awesome place for family vacation!
There is nothing bad about this place! Awesome location, only a 5-minute walk to the Texas Ranger stadium! Excellent service! Also, all the people who work there, are friendly! Great prices!

Great Hotel Stay
This hotel was a pleasant stay. The room was really nice and clean for the price paid. The only request I have is better shower heads for better water pressure. The extra innings bar and grill was decent. The personell was friendly and helpful.

We do it for Mom
We live in the Metroplex and just to get away sometime we come here. We've stayed hear a number of times for the past several years and almost each time we've had some type of tiff with the staff. On our last visit 06/05 we all set out to relax by the pool, however upon are arrival to the pool area we found out that the Hotel had reserved the Covered pool area to a private party and that area was off limits to us. Why did'nt they tell us that when we checked in or when we made our reservations? The Covered Pool area is a big reason for our stays here. My Father used to love staying here but he has since passed on. My Mother enjoys her visit here, it reminds her of him. Theres Not much for kids to do here..but swim.. you would think that with there slogan being Fun City USA they would offer more things for kids to do. A game room would be a nice addition for the kids. There are games but they're in the BAR. Don't dare go in there with kids, they'll ask you
