Twice a week local farmers from the surrounding area set up shop on the streets of downtown and offer loads of fresh produce, eggs, honey and other delicacies too good to pass up. On occasion Colorado wine, fresh roasted green chilies and tempting breads are also for sale. Bring an empty stomach and a full wallet, and spend the afternoon browsing and bartering, or enjoy a picnic in the park behind the market. In the fall, ripe Colorado peaches are an especially succulent treat.
