El Conquistador is a very high-end hotel which is located about one hour from the San Juan airport. The grounds are breath taking and the golf course is beautifully manicured. It has a very large swimming pool and it has a small casino --- there are penny slot machines to say the least. The hotel inside is lavishly decorated and it has 4 restaurants. We did not stay at the hotel, but we visited the casino 3 nights and had pizza at the Ciao Mediterranean Cafe. The cost for an 8 slice pizza and 2 sodas was $24.
