Back to Plaza del Quinto Centenario Simple and fun! This place is a little plaza where your kids can have fun with the hidden fountains from the ground below that shoot into the air from invisable holes and where you can also sit and relax while sipping on a piragua. My favorite is strawberry. Ther is an excellent view of El morro and the ocean from this quaint little park and there is a parking garage concealed below its grounds for your convenience. It is easily accessible to nearby shops and the sites of Old San Juan.

It's far more modern than many of the plazas in Viejo San Juan, making it stand out quite a bit against its surroundings. Take a stroll through and admire the obelisk, and read a bit about the history of Puerto Rico.
