Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 10 2007 Horrible Stay I made my reservation five months in advance and was confirmed that I had two double beds. I called and confirmed several times to make sure we still had our doubles. We have four children and when we went to check in they put us in a king. They told me that they never promised me doubles. They told me my kids would have to sleep on the floor. It was late, the hotels around were full and we had to stay because we booked thru the Internet and I would loose my advance payment. During the first night my son woke up sreaming due to roaches crawling on him as well as ants. The a/c didn't work well and the tv reception was horrible. I called the front desk FIVE times and I was told they couldn't move me and there was nothing they could do. I will NEVER go back to this hotel and I will tell EVERYONE about this horrible experience.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 22 2006 Nice room; but, other problems We just stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We found the staff to be very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and you could tell it had been renovated. The room was large and it was nice having a sofa in the room.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 06 2006 Poor service The front desk was uniformed about a major telvised event 2 blocks from them. Expess service was made less express by non exprss guest being in the special line for express guest and the front desk person answering the phones (no one else did but her). Part of express is asking for internet available room, no cables were in the room and at 5:30 AM I was told I would have to come down to the front desk to get them. I had to call three times to get a bell hop. Because the room was comfortable and the hotel very nice and all went well with Banquets I gave it an average. Poor service, nice rooms.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 19 2006 Don't stay here. Awful, disgaceful, couldn't wait to get home. Any request was denied or laughted at. The staff themselves agreed it was a "dump". My car was lost for 2 hours by vallet parking. Finally it showed up but the keys were gone forever and nobody cared. I waited for the manager for 1 hour and finally gave up. It was like get the heck out of here before more can go wrong. P.S. no heating at night.
Reviewed by: Mark from on Feb 28 2006 Great! My wife and I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms in the JFK tower for our anniversary. It was great! Very clean and comfortable. The lobby of the hotel featured a little koi fish pond and 2 African Grey parrots which added a unique touch. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from Sundance Square where all the downtown action is. A safe walk straight up Main St (not even a 5 minute stroll). The parking garage across the street from the hotel was very convenient, and allowed "in and outs" at no additional charge. Great if you're planning on visiting some of the other Fort Worth attractions.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 17 2005 Buyers Beware After keeping us waiting for six hours, this hotel could not honor a reservation booked three-and-a-half months in advance. They claimed that guests who were supposed to vacate their rooms would not do so and thus we could not have our room. We were among many turned away that day. The staff was unpleasant and dishonest. Many, many complaints from others attending our same convention who did managed to get a room here made us very glad in the end that we stayed elsewhere. If you book this hotel, don't count on actually staying here. Remember--buyers beware of this dubious operation.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 12 2005 Beware! The entrance of this 'war horse' of a hotel is beautiful so was shocked to see th rms our people actually got.On site inspection was shown a 'typical rm',and feel deceived as most of our group got very poor ones. Meetings set up late, poor service when needed and decidedly over-priced!Insist on a w/e stay-over before booking.
