Back to 8.0 Restaurant & Bar Worst Bartenders in Town We were seated at a table in the beginning of the night. Our waitress was great!! She gave us outstanding service and was very attentive. Then, we moved to the bar so the dance floor could be opened up for Saturday night. Bad idea!! The bartenders did not even acknowledge that we were there. We waited to 30 minutes to get a second drink and still never got one bartender to wait on us. After that I walked to the other side of the bar and asked for the manager and of course the bartender said he did not know where he was. I then asked for the check and left with a very bad taste in my mouth. Needless to say we will never go there again because the four guys behind the bar were not only rude but gave us no customer service at all!! WORST BARTENDERS EVER!!!! I would never send anyone to that bar.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 26 2007 We won't go back, no one should. The problem was the door man, the rudest person I have ever talked to. We talked to the manager and all he assured us was that the man is just rude. Which leads us to believe that the management of this bar doesn't care how customers are treated, because the door man is still working at this bar, even though they know the fact that this man is not customer friendly prior to my visit. Even our waiter mentioned the fact that he did not like the door man because he is rude. This is the first person you encounter when you walk in to the bar, you would think he would be a customer friendly person. This is just not right, we will just take our business to the bar across the street, "City Street" or "Red Goose" around the corner, where the customer is treated with respect.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 11 2006 What a wild time !! 8.0's is a great place to go for night life...especially if the band "Lookout" is playing. You can sit out on the patio where it is not so stuffy..no smoke, etc. Lots of fun people there.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 29 2005 "The place to be" Friendly staff, had to wait a little while for drinks but that was because it's so crowded. Seems like place be. Food was excellent, had the chicken sandwich on wheat bread, yum! Fiend had a salad with cranberries and nuts. It tasted great too.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 25 2005 8.0 deserves a 10. Visiting 8.0 is visiting the hot spot of Fort Worth. The staff is a group of stunning girls, the bar is the most popular place to be and the patio is vibrant and fun. I'd recommend it to anyone!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 23 2005 Wed. Night Music 8.0 and 99.5 the Ranch do live music on Wed. nights. There are fewer people (depending on who is playing). Most of them are local bands playing good-o Texas Country. Don't miss The Lost Trailers coming soon, they are alot of fun. The place to be on Wednesday night is outside at 8.0!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 02 2005 Not worth your time and money DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT OPEN A TAB AT THE BAR!!!! THEY CHARGED ME FOR SOMEONE ELSES DRINK! And the bartenders acted like they had short term memory loss. The manager pretended to refund my card but recharged me. i DID NOT get my refund. So I was charged for both transaction. They do not know what they are doing. The managers and bartenders are incompetant. Don't waste your time and money. Take it where you would actually get what you pay for.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 28 2005 if going for live music, go early, find a seat! I am used to crowded bars, but this was overly crowded, making it impossible to move once you found a square foot to stand in.
