Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 13 2008 Best time of my life! My best friend and I just got back from our first trip to Nashville. I was told before the trip that we had to go to Tootsie's and I am so glad that we did!! It was a great experience and the music was great. It was very fun and laid back! I now have a whole new appreciation for music and the bands that do this everyday for people like me to enjoy. It was very sad and hard to leave Nashville but I will be back!

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 10 2008 Historic Being an old guard country fan for years and reading accounts by Faron Young and Willie Nelson about a group of performers who helped each other out in a time that might be long gone. It was exciting to be part of Nashville's musical history. The memorabilia on the walls, the signatures on the albums, the instruments hanging on the walls made the visit seem both eerie, and exciting.Just knowing that the likes of Waylon, Willie, Roger Miller, Faron Young, Jim Reeves, Ray Price, Marty Robbins, Mel Tillis, Harlan Howard were such a part of these walls was, well just plain old errie. The place was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, and very cluttered, but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there and would definately come back.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 02 2007 Jason DeShaw was awesome! This was our first time in Nashville. Four of us came down for the CMA Fan Fest . . . what a great time. We found Tootsie's on our first day we went in to the city and absolutely loved it. It's just a little honky tonk bar, but all the music we heard there was great! And Teri Clark came in to perform when we were there . . . doesn't get much better than that! Then we also saw Jason Michael Carroll . . . great too! I know that Jason DeShaw and The Country Way will be an up and coming group to watch for! We came every day to watch them play! They're just great! Thanks for the great memories!

I would go back there every week if I had my way,,, but I am married and live in Canada.. I will be back though, soon !!!!!!

I was there for a convention at the Nashville Convention Center and was told to check out Tootsie's. I am so glad that I did. It might be small, but the bands are the best, the bartenders are great and the crowd is fun, fun fun !!! You can't say you were in Nashville if you did not visit Tootsie's !
