Back to Knott's Berry Farm The amazingness that is Knotts Berry I Have been coming to Knotts Berry for about 5 years straight for their annual Halloween haunt and I must say... I love it! I dont know about some of you people on here but I swear it never gets old, there is always something to do and see. I can admitt though maybe the park could get updated a bit and add a few more rides... but still I do like the oark the way it is now as well. If you havent gone to knotts during October for the haunt, you are definitely missing out... BIG TIME. I get the crap scared out of me everytime it never fails. Although if you go make sure to visit during the week and or sunday, OH and make sure to have a plan of what you want to see. The park can get pretty packed quick so always plan ahead... just like DisneyLand ; ) But overall this place is awesome and everyone shpuld visit in my opinion. I will be back this October for sure 2009 and I cant wait, its July and im already planning!

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 16 2009 Cedar Fair has stripped Knott's Since changing ownership Knott's has been stripped of its charm and unique atmosphere. Most employees are untrained and sloppy looking. The addition of so many roller coasters was a mistake. Too many, too squished together and evasive to the parks overall charm it once had. Ghostrider is awesome. It is overshadowed however, by the new height restrictions through out the park. Only two rides that an adult and youngster can enjoy together. Even in Camp Snoopy my 4 year old could not go on all the rides. On the day I visited there was a very large bulldozer (obviously there for some kind of construction) sitting in the midst of Camp Snoopy! The photographer for pictures with Snoopy was rude to me and the kids. If you are seeking a few good rollercoaster rides, by all means go. If you want a good overall visit or are a family, DON"T go. Not worth it.
Reviewed by: Threeicys from on Nov 11 2008 Political influence on teens minds I was extremely disappointed at the skewed and ignorant political mockery that went on during the Knott’s Scary stage shows. Both shows made inflammatory references about President Bush and/ or the McCain/ Palin ticket. No jokes were made about the Obama ticket. SHAME ON KNOTTS!!!!!!!! I brought my teen to Knott’s for mindless fun and had to witness liberal Hollywood once again trying to indoctrinate teens into their views without presenting both sides. What is even sadder than that, is that the ignorant public, young and old, will probably value what these uneducated, mindless writers and entertainers would say!!!!!!!! SHAME ON THE PUBLIC!!!!!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 19 2008 Going 4 Years STRONG! I just want to say I have been going to knotts 4 years straight every October, for their Halloween Haunt. I must say everytime I go i fall more in love with this park. My favorite ride is Ghostrider and its always the first ride I get on. Everything about this park is awsome from the enviornment to the asortment of rides... there really is something for everyone. Also, the haunt is not to be missed!!! It will scare the jeepers out of you and its totally wortht the money! Although if you stay all night it will lose its scare for ya because all th people in the haunts at once. (Kids really can ruin it for you) Im 21 and I can admitt that! But I love knotts and I know everyone else will too. I will be going back this OCT. (OCT 08)
Reviewed by: Pompadour from on Sep 29 2008 Their loss, your gain. Amazingly, I visited on a summer Sunday, June 29th, 2008 and never waited in line for more than 7 minutes for any ride at any time. Admittedly, I entered the park at their 10am opening and went straight to Silver Bullet, their premier suspended coaster with 6 inversions where I rode the first trip of the day. From their I went to the back of the park to Xcellerator where there was no line at all. After riding once in the front row, the ride operators let us move back a few rows and ride again without exiting.
Reviewed by: Randy from on Jun 30 2008 A Once Proud Establishment in Decline Having lived in Southern California for a number of years, our family has become a fan of the Theme Parks. Knott's USED to be one of the favorites....but now is the low man on the totem pole, as it were. While Disney charges significantly more for admission, the higher price allows for not only a higher echilon clientele, but employees as well. The Park has become threadbare and in need of a facelift. Some of the employees are just going through the motions to get a paycheck. This is a sad turn of events for what used to be one of the premier theme parks in SoCal.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 28 2008 Go during the week Our family had purchased tickets for two days, and arrived at the park early Friday afternoon in mid-May. What a great time! Fun themes, no lines, awesome rides (my favorites were the Ghost Rider and the Silver Bullet), good food, shopping, and Snoopy! Unfortunately, there was none of that charm on Saturday. The long lines and extremely rude school kids just ruined the day for us. We will return, but only during the week.
