Founded in 1910, this is the oldest restaurant in Oklahoma, made famous when then-President George Bush ate here in 1992. This Stockyard City restaurant is famous for its delicious steaks and its lamb fries. It is great for breakfast, too. A good-sized breakfast is priced right at about $3. The lamb fries are the most unusual delicacy. Ask your server to describe them to you. Otherwise, you will have a large selection of great steaks, burgers and sandwiches to choose from.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York! This is a landmark with great steak. The atmosphere is not typically what you'd expect in a steak house. That's because real working-men Oklahomans have been eating here since the early stockyard days. It is filled with the character of those days, though not plush & not the place for an intimate dinner. But do expect to pay as though you would for a fine dining experience, while sitting in basically a country cafe.

Great steak, country food like calf-fries & interesting atmosphere. Depends on what kind of a date you're on. She'll know she's had a good meal but it's definitely not intimate or romantic.
