Every spring (Frühjahrs-Dippemess) and autumn (Herbst-Dippemess) the traditional Dippemess market draws tens of thousands of visitors from Frankfurt and the surrounding region. But not everyone who comes here is interested in the ceramics and kitchen utensils the market has to offer. The main attractions nowadays are the carousels, wild water slides, tombolas, the big wheel and (of course) the beer tents. A huge firework display takes place on the opening and closing nights.
