Back to Québec (Le) Absolutely the worst dining experience ever! There was absolutely nothing Canadian about the food at this terrible restaurant. My sister ordered a salad, the wrong one was served and when she tried to tell the servers (2 of them), they just argued with her and walked away while she was still trying to explain the error. Finally, her husband got the point across and the correct salad delivered to the table. A few bites in, she found a huge (I mean big!) spider in the salad. No offer to rectify the situation was made, other than to replace the salad. When the bill came, we were charged for the wrong salad and the spider salad! When brought to the manager's attention, these items were removed - after some discussion. If you are looking for a pleasurable and relaxing dining experience, you'd be better off at a crepe stand!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 15 2009 Will go back next visit The menu was varied, the food was well cooked and excelent value for money. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and valued you as a customer. They really appreciated that you wanted to return day after day. four of us had 9 different meals over a period of 1 week and every course was 10 out of 10.

Reviewed by: Stuey from on Nov 11 2008 Le Quebec - Le Good Food! They own the restaurant opposite too - La Pizza! And further down La Tavern - something like that. So 3 chains in one street. The pizza was good but have to say - a tad too much cheese which made it a little too oily for my liking. My boyfriend had steak which was perfect - the salad was good too. Be warned though - portions are big - we ordered the salad thinking it would be a side salad but it was an actual meal in itself! The whole meal cost about 40 (no alchohol or dessert - too full!) - not too bad. Out of the 3 chain restaurants, Le Quebec was the best for service and food - we tried the Tavern one - wasn't great - service was awful. Would very much recommend Le Quebec.

Just for the pizza alone would highly recommend visiting. Location is also great, in a busy pedestrian part of city, great for people-watching.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 09 2006 salads are good The salads were good but its hard to go wrong there. The pizza was so overloaded with cheese it made me feel ill and 1 of the diners had a bad tummy after eating it.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 12 2006 You Must Stop Here! By far, some of the best pizza I've ever had. Went back 3 nights in row, just for the wood fired pizza. Wish it was here in California!!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 28 2005 It is definitely the best pizza It is fire-oven baked and there are blackened spots to prove it. I wish we had a place like this in the US. The cheese is thick and gooey. If the weather permits, eat outside so you can watch the pedestrians, and artists performing. It makes me hungry to think about them.
