The developed Zurriola promenade has become one of the city's attractions. The work undertaken included widening the beach, thus creating even more space for fun. The walkway begins in the Sagüés district, site of trade fairs and exhibitions, as well as some interesting bars. It continues along the edge of the beach until it reaches the new Kursaal Auditorium and Conference Center and the Kursaal Bridge, just a stone's throw from the Old Quarter on the other side. The beach, which has all types of facilities, is famous for the waves that make it a favorite with local surfers.
