Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort
A Different World
Back to Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort Nice grounds and main part of the resort. We stayed in a room off from the main grounds that you had to walk up a hill to get to the main grounds. The room was nice it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked I have stayed in less expensive places and they were cleaner. We had some kind of roof critter running on the roof all night, before bark I heard it but though it was birds, but it kept up all night. I know; I was in the desert but man…. I needed ear plugs.
Reviewed by: Kerri from on Jun 24 2009 Great place for a getaway My girlfriend and I stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and absolutely loved the place. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed at many, many Hiltons, and this was one of the best. The room was nice and the views of the hills and golf course from our balcony were awesome. Try out the little par 3 golf course that weaves around the hotel, it's challenging and fun. They rent you clubs for free, too, if you are staying at the hotel. It was a very relaxing time. The only downside was the distance, it's quite a ways from the airport, but so very much worth the drive!
Reviewed by: Lompoc from on Jan 19 2009 Stayed multiple times I have stayed at the El conquistador 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months. I have been in their casitas as well as regular rooms. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always extremely friendly. The pool is nice, clean and not horribly crowded. They don't charge a resort fee and there is ample self parking. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 22 2008 Very pleasant stay We found this resort just beautiful. The views of the Catalina Mnts was fantastic! The hotel is close to all Tucson's great adventures (4th Ave, Titan missle silo, air/space museum, old Tuscon amusement park, etc.). The waterfalls, big slide, restaurants, pool-side bar, room location - were all perfect. We'll stay here again particularly b/c of the price-value. One request I would have would be a refrigerator in the room. Otherwise, the room/bathroom was large and comfy.
Reviewed by: Julie from on Oct 30 2007 Great Corporate Location Attended a conference on site, with great facilities. Room was fantastic, food great, and the little extras that you expect were there. Spa Treatment was 1st class, charges for the exercise room were a bit much. And the Golf course was tough.
Reviewed by: Rip Stylier from on Sep 20 2007 Great ! I stayed here for a weekend and had ablast! The service is great and the staff are nice and friendly. The best part was sitting by the pool with pool service. Also they have a kids part that my nephew had a great time in. They have a slide. Also, they have a bar right by the pool, that you also can get food from. At the resort they have the restaraunt with excellent food. It was a great getaway from home!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 01 2007 not bad Great view of the mountains. The rooms were nice. Food is mediocre with small portions. Not really the place for a wedding, be ready to be nickle and dimed.
