This rather plush club, formerly The Empire, originally opened in the 1960s. A great deal of remodelling was carried out through the years, and the final result is miles ahead of its previous uninspired image. One thing seemingly not affected; however, is the interior design. Wooden panelling and red lights give the Roxy a pleasant, nostalgic atmosphere. Music is in accordance with the whims of resident DJs playing funky grooves; there are often guest DJs from the Viennese electronic scene.
