Sky blue and white colors distinguish this well-preserved house from the end of the 19th century, where Michelena had his studio, from 1895 until his death in 1898. It was made into a museum in 1961, although it was not officially opened until 1963, the centenary year of the artist's birthday. The main aim of this museum is the preservation of its artistic and historical contents, which the visitor can appreciate. This includes the studio itself, some finished works, sketches, drawings, documents and personal belongings. The museum also offers classes, talks and cultural activities for children.
