Colorado Springs, a popular year-round tourist destination, has an abundance of hotels, motels, bed-and-breakfasts, and extended-stay accommodations. Whether you seek frontier luxury or an economical mountain experience, the city has a place for you.

West

This district has the densest concentration of accommodations in the city, thanks to a profusion of attractions along Highway 24, including the historical neighborhoods of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, as well as the Garden of the Gods, the Cave of the Winds and Pikes Peak. Further west in Cripple Creek, the area's gambling hot spot, you will find a wealth of hotels of a different sort: the combination hotel-casino. Among the most popular are the Imperial Casino Hotel and the Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino.

Central/Downtown

If you would like to be in the heart of the city, right in the midst of numerous fine restaurants and local shops, consider staying at a downtown hotel. This convenience is evidenced by a higher rate, and with only a half-dozen hotels in the area, you likely will want to make reservations early. The stand-out institution here is the Residence Inn Colorado Springs Central. Our Hearts Inn and Fireside Executive Suites offer guests comfortable, modern amenities for reasonable rates.

North

Hotels here are also close to two of Colorado's most famous attractions, the Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy, as well as several parks. The largest and most luxurious choice is the Wyndham Colorado Springs, a nine-story behemoth nestled in the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of more than 6,000 feet. Other upscale accommodations include Embassy Suites and La Quinta Inn Garden of the Gods. If you are on a more modest budget, the Best Western Palmer House and Ramada Inn North provide the same great view at an affordable rate.

East

The choices in this neighborhood are fewer and tailored more for the traveling professional. The greatest benefits of staying in this area of the city are the moderate rates and proximity to the Colorado Springs Airport. Apollo Park Executive Suites is an upscale option. They are apartment-style living properties with rooms equipped to serve as working offices. If you prefer more traditional lodging, head to the Comfort Inn or the Days Inn.

South

Opulent hotels define the southern section of Colorado Springs. All of the lodging here is close to several parks and conveniently accessible to city attractions and downtown dining and shopping. The well-regarded Marriott chain is a dominant presence here—there are three hotels bearing its name: Courtyard, Fairfield Inn and Residence Inn. If you want a hotel close to the entertainment center of the city, the World Arena, book a room at the Doubletree Hotel. The Sheraton Hotel Colorado Springs is one of Colorado Springs' largest, with a lavish decor to match its stature. Even so, the most opulent lodging, without question, is the Broadmoor. The sprawling complex of buildings is like a city unto itself, crowned by the magnificent Mediterranean-style main resort and a private lake.
