By Air

Smyril Line is a passenger liner that operates weekly from Denmark and Norway to Faroe Islands in East Iceland.

By Bus
Strætó is the main provider of bus transport in downtown Rekyavik and its municipalities. The buses run throughout the week at an interval of 20 minutes. The bus drivers are not allowed to tender change, so make sure to carry enough coins.
