In 1964, they had five straight number one albums. Despite their breakup in 1970, the group's popularity remains today. Sadly, John Lennon was murdered in 1980 and George Harrison died of cancer in 2001. However, both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr's solo careers continue to thrive.
